Check a casino payment before sending
Payment convenience is not proof of licensing. Trace the recipient, legal context and reversibility first.
Payment rail ≠ licence
PayNow sends SGD through FAST using identifiers such as a mobile number or UEN. That convenience does not identify a gambling licence or guarantee reversibility.
Before sending
- Match the recipient. Record the displayed name, UEN or phone identifier before confirming.
- Match the operator. The payment beneficiary should not conflict with the entity disclosed for the exact domain.
- Check the local rule. GRA states Singapore Pools is the only licensed remote-gambling operator.
- Preserve the trail. Save the amount, timestamp, reference, chat and destination without sharing full credentials publicly.
